About me and my company

I grew up in SE Pennsylvania, a land of many trees, and often found fun little hiding spots while exploring the forests. It wasn't until my 20s, however, that I became interested in natural beauty products. I started making my own shampoos, lotions, and many other things found in my first acquired natural body book, "Earthly Bodies & Heavenly Hair" by Dina Falconi. I ordered my ingredients from Mountain Rose Herbs and was very happy with their quality and variety. After moving out west in 2003, I got married to my awesome and quite often humorous husband and we ventured to Oregon in 2015. I started working for Mountain Rose Herbs (my dream job!) and learned from the wonderful people there about how helpful herbs are when taken internally. I got interested in the properties of herbs, where I can find them out in the wild, how to grow them, and how they help our bodies. Our Lord made these beautiful plants to heal, nourish, and give life to our bodies and I wanted to be a part of it. I enrolled in Rosemary Gladstar's "Science and Art of Herbalism" course. I received my certificate of completion in January 2022. In August 2021, I started my company and began selling my products at craft fairs, shows, and our summer farmer's market. I will continue my education both via courses and walking among the plants. I chose the name "Branch & Vine" because John 15:4 is one of my favorite verses in Scripture. Without Jesus, I cannot bear fruit for Him or his Kingdom. He sustains me and blesses me and my family daily. My husband and I, along with our son, love hiking, camping, taking trips, and playing games with friends and family. I also enjoy gardening, fishing, archery, and reading a good book.
